The Infiniti M35 Hybrid gets its first day out at Geneva
Infiniti haven’t even got round to launching the latest M Line cars in Europe (and we didn’t even get the last version of the M) but they’re already showing the ‘Eco-M’ – the Infiniti M35 Hybrid – at Geneva this week. If you’re familiar with the Infiniti range of engines (which isn’t all that likely as they’re far from ubiquitous in the UK and Europe) you may be asking yourselves ‘Why M35? Surely the Infiniti would be the M37?’ And you’d have a good point, as the 3.5 litre V6 is the Infiniti engine out of the old M Line (which Europe didn’t get) not the new 3.7 litre (which it will).

The Aston Martin tie-up with Daimler’s AMG to produce new engines for Aston Martin was always likely to be just the tip of the iceberg of co-operation between the 3-pointed star and Gaydon. That’s because it’s not just new engines that Aston Martin needs, but new platforms too to replace its one and only ageing platform. And the first candidate for platform donation from Mercedes was always likely to be an SUV platform to build a Lagonda SUV on.
Ferrari F620 GT leaks ahead of debut
The first photo of the replacement for the Ferrari 599 – the Ferrari F620 GT – has leaked out ahead of next week’s reveal. The Ferrari F620 GT has been teased over the last week or so, and Ferrari are planning to reveal the successor to the 599 next week. But now we have the first photo of the new F620 GT thanks to the guys over at GTSpirit.
